Dubois Main Street and the Dubois Museum nominated Dubois for True West Magazine’s annual Top Ten True Western Towns Award. Dubois, WY garnered the Number 4 position.

True West editors determine winners for this annual award based on criteria demonstrating how each town has preserved its history through old buildings, museums and other institutions, events, and promotions of historic resources.

Congratulations to the 30 Dubois businesses selected by True West.
The WCDA along with the Wyoming Housing Network, Inc., the Wyoming Mortgage Lenders Association, the Wyoming Association of Realtors, the Wyoming Bankers Association, and the Central Wyoming Homebuilders Association launched a promotional campaign on March 22 titled the “Buy NOW” campaign. The campaign is simply letting folks who are currently thinking about buying their first home know that right now is a very good time to do so because of the many favorable market conditions all working together at the same time – home prices are stabilizing, mortgage loan interest rates for first-time homebuyers are very low, more homes are on the market, the federal tax credit is still in effect through the end of the month, and rental costs remain high.
